Learnings From Meeting #not-ai Nicole explained that ASES, 21st CCLC, and ELO-P all report into ASSIST the same way. This means I need to update the ASSIST report to include all 3 sources of funding. Since Nicole uses multiple sources of funding for each program she needs to be able to divide the total students served by days of operation and piece up the students as she sees fit. This introduces an issue — some programs are only funded by ELO-P so they can’t be considered in the blob of funding. The solution will be to add a new section to the report that shows ELO-P only students served and days of operation.

Work Completed

Enhanced the Winters Joint ASES/ELO-P funding dashboard to include 21st CCLC programs:

Dashboard Updates:

  • Modified main attendance report to include programs tagged “21st CCLC”
  • Added program categorization logic to separate “ELO-P Only” programs from combined “ASES/ELO-P/21st CCLC” programs
  • Implemented anti-double-counting logic to ensure each attendance record is categorized into exactly one bucket
  • Report now shows separate rows per school for different program categories

Program List Queries:

  • Created ELO-P program list with toggle parameter for “ONLY ELO-P” filtering
    • Toggle OFF: Shows all ELO-P tagged programs regardless of other tags
    • Toggle ON: Shows only programs tagged ELO-P without ASES or 21st CCLC tags
  • Created dedicated 21st CCLC program list query
  • Both queries filter out canceled programs and respect date range parameters

Documentation Updates:

  • Updated dashboard descriptions to reference “ASES, ELO-P, and 21st CCLC” throughout
  • Clarified that reports include both state-funded (ASES/ELO-P) and federally-funded (21st CCLC) programs
  • Updated program inclusion criteria documentation
